Chickenpox

Chickenpox is one of the classic childhood diseases. Most children will catch it sooner or later. Chickenpox is an airborne disease and is very contagious. The symptoms are: - general mild flu like symptoms headache, fever, tummy ache, and loss of appetite ; - followed a day or two later by hundreds of itchy, fluid filled blisters. Once you have had chickenpox the virus is with you for life but kept in check by your immune system. However, the virus can flare up later in life in the form of shingles, especially if you undergo a period of stress. Most cases occur in children younger than 10 and the disease is usually mild. Older children and adults often develop a more severe case of chickenpox. Chickenpox can cause serious complications: - a secondary infection of the blisters may occur if these are scratched and this can cause scarring. - newborns are at risk of severe infection if the mother is not immune i.e. she has not previously had the disease . I recently received this email from one of those opt-in lists that I supposedly had subscribed to. It was advertising this brand new ldquo;affiliate book rdquo; that was supposed to teach you those highly coveted inside secrets that few people knew. This book, Affiliate Project X , has recently made an appearance on the web and many of you have probably seen the ads for it and wondered it if actually works. I have decided to write a quick review and express my feelings on the subject. I started out in affiliate marketing a few months ago, and up until now, have had very little success in my newest online endeavor. When I got the email that I mentioned above I was very skeptical on whether or not this would be worth the money or if it was just another guy trying to make a quick buck. Tips For Traveling With Children

Getting ready for a family vacation with a baby. Many things can make the trip a more enjoyable experience, depending on the age of the child. Of course, if the baby is still in diapers then having a good supply of diapers and baby wipes is a necessity. Bottled water for drinking and for rinsing out cups is a plus. Snacks, the healthy sugar free variety are also a necessity, and pillows and blankets to make the child comfortable during the long ride. If your baby is old enough to pay attention, then travel games, coloring books, and toys that are quiet enough to avoid driving you crazy can be helpful. Also a travel DVD player that plugs into the car s cigarette lighter for power will allow the child to watch a favorite video, keeping him or her occupied and more comfortable. Read along books for children are handy as well. These books have recordings the children listen to while looking at the pictures and the words underneath, teaching reading skills at a very young age.
